D’Alambert betting strategy at blackjack
The simplest BlackJack betting strategy is “Martingale” – you simply double your bet size in case of losing, and that’s all. No complex strategy, no predict, just double or not. But there is another system, which could be considered as useful and simple. It’s “D’Alambert” betting system. This system is actually based on “Martingale”, but there are few differences.
This system was named in honor of Jean le Rond D’Alembert, who lived in 18th century, and was very famous philosopher and math scientist. Firstly this system was used for Roulette, but after many successful examples of play, BlackJack players also “took it into account”.
When you are playing online BlackJack with this system, it means that after every winning hand you will have to increase your bet size. After losing hand just lower your bet on one unit. So if, for example, minimum table bet is $5, so you have to start with this bet size. In case of losing the first hand you will have to add another unit to the bet size, so your next hand will be equal to $10. If the second hand is won – lower your bet back to $5, but if you lost – increase to $15 and so on.
As you may see, “D’Alambert” system doesn’t require for you to involve big money into your game, and balance fluctuations won’t be very big. And if you manage to find a winning streak – your profit will be very nice!
